The fresh water is ruled by the Muskellunge; my favorite challenge! I spend the majority of my time on the water each year in pursuit of these rare trophy fish, both as a guide and tournament angler. I fish the most productive bodies of water on the planet and specialize in BIG fish! These waters include: Lake Minnetonka, Lake Vermillion, Leech Lake and many more! I’m part of a youth movement in the sport and employ innovative, cutting-edge, aggressive tactics to consistently catch clients more fish! Whether you’re new to the exciting world of musky fishing or a veteran looking to improve, I can customize each experience to suit your needs.

Sturgeon
Sturgeon are the largest and hardest fighting fish in fresh water. Sturgeon fishing is very family friendly and perfect for the novice or experienced angler. This is a truly unique fishing opportunity! The action can be fast and furious; 20 to 40 pound fish are common and monsters up to 60+ pounds possible! The best bites take place in early spring and late fall. The Rainy River is the most productive body of water, however Sturgeon are present in every major river system in our region, including the Metro Area!

Catfish
Catffish Catfishing in the midwest can be world-class and is often overlooked by anglers. The metro area provides some of the best catfishing in the state. The Minnesota, Mississippi, and St. Croix Rivers all sustain good numbers of both Channel and Flathead Catfish. Both provide a great challenge for beginners and experts alike!

In addition to guiding, I fish 10 to 12 tournaments per year, including the Professional Musky Tournament Trail. I am a member of the IGFA, Muskies Inc. and the Minnesota Musky Guides Association. I guarantee a safe, ethical, "fair chase" experience, using only the finest equipment on the best bodies of water!
